Finished today. Ok I should be making Christmas presents, but I had a cunning plan, I hate hand sewing and this confused cat (House of Zandra sewing pattern) that I’ve had for at least a year + was my practice piece for a couple of presents (to be blogged after the Christmas season bet you can’t wait) so here is the result.
Well it’s not very offend that all 3 are in the same room at the same time or within a metre of each other so I took this opportunity (luckily I had my camera to hand). This is the result. Ok they aren’t in one picture, that would be a miracle.
I feel like I’ve blinked and a year has gone, not even a blog. life has just got so busy, I’m finding work is getting in the way, but I need to work so I can do the hobbies I love and try new ones. Been doing a few of Ali Reeves classes @ Clever Cuts this year, fantastic value for money and very well fed. Did the extra \Hobby craft shoe at the NEC in July or was it June. Luckily Debs got some free tickets (Would of been quite unimpressed if had to pay £12.00, due to not many stall but what they had and not a lot of people on the Sunday I really enjoyed and managed 2 make and takes a wedding headband with Jewellery Maker and a Powertex fish with the Powertex stand. Now I have no reasons not to use the Powertex products I bought 5 ++ years ago, firstly I need to find it after sorting my craft and sewing rooms out. I now have lovely shelving and draws mostly labelled, still work in progress, would help if I stopped buy crafty stuff. Been on a few flower arranging classes have 2 on the go at the mo. The photo I’m including is of an artificial arrangement I did for Heathers (Pete’s sister) 60th.
well I’m off to try and finish my memories box that I did at Coleman’s Rushden with Jo. Before I set off for this afternoons flower arranging class with Diane, Then back home to unload flower arranging stuff to travel to mum’s for a 3 day sewing get together.
